Michael Baker Jr., Inc. (Baker) has immediate openings for a full-time
crew chief and four field technicians out of the Baker office in
Charleston, West Virginia.

Qualifications for the Crew chief include MA in Anthropology/Archaeology
or equivalent field experience with 2 years leading crews in Phase I & II
field work. Phase III leadership desired with good communication skills.
Candidate should have the ability to coordinate with project Managers,
manage large crews and understand the overall project objectives. Candidate
should also have experience with GPS & GIS a plus. Experience with Word
Processing, spreadsheets and relational databases. Salary commensurate with
experience. Position includes a benefits package.

Qualifications for field technicians include BA in
Anthropology/Archaeology with 2 years of related field experience. (I.E.
Soils Indent., Artifact Indent., Orienteering, ETC.) Candidate should have
the ability to work on overland survey, Phase II and Phase III excavation.
Proficiencies with word processing, GIS, and relational databases a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience. Position includes a benefits package.
