Archeological Crew Chiefs – New Orleans, Louisiana

Successful candidates for Crew Chief (Archeologist I) positions in our New Orleans, Louisiana office must possess < /span>at minimum a B.A. or B.S. in Archeology or Anthropology and must have completed an accredited archeological field school.  Candidates with the M.A. are encouraged to apply.  Applicants must have a minimum of two years of archeological field experience, substantial field supervisory experience, and excellent interpersonal skills.  Superior field skills are essential; experience with GPS, and familiarity with both historic and prehistoric archeological sites and material culture are desirable.  These positions are based in New Orleans; however significant travel on field projects should be anticipated.

These are full time, salaried, professional positions with full benefits package (paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave; health, dental, and life insurance; and a liberal 401(k) plan).  Salaries are competitive and commensurate with educational and professional experience.
