Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. in Sheridan, Wyoming is seeking to fill a GIS technician position.  The ideal candidate must be able to start immediately producing report quality maps and be able work independen

tly with minimal orientation and no training in GIS needed.  A successful applicant will have:

·       A strong background in cartography using ArcGIS 10.2 including symbologies, labeling expressions, layout, data driven pages, and VBA expression building

·       Data building and manipulation skills including: projection and transformation of multiple coordinate systems, conversion from DWG, KML, and SP1, experience with all aspects of geoprocessing tools and spatial analyst

·       The ability to work on organize the data multiple projects simultaneously so that multiple versions of projects and separate projects can be tracked and edited as needed

·       The ability to efficiently take projects from raw data to finished project

·       Experience creating and editing attribute tables and metadata

·       Experience with creating and correcting data using Pathfinder Office, DNR Garmin, and Mapsource applications

· The ability to upload and download a variety of GPS units

Experience with spatial modeling and spatial statistics is preferred.
