Project Manager position with Metcalf Archaeology – Bismarck, ND
Metcalf Archaeological Consultants, Inc. is looking for an experienced project manager to work out of our Bismarck, ND office. This position is salaried and full-time, regular. Project management experience is a must for this position. Job duties primarily center around procuring and managing archaeological projects. Responsibilities also extend to ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and permits, staffing projects with appropriate team members, monitoring schedules and budgets, and maintaining overall quality of archaeological investigations.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Anthropology
- 5+ years of experience supervising personnel
- 5+ years of experience organizing and supervising complex projects
- Sufficient writing skills to create reports for agency submission
- Sufficient experience to be listed in direct charge on antiquities permits in at least two states within the company’s operating region
- Familiarity with current research methods and trends in archaeology
- Familiarity with any or all of the following: Section 106, NEPA compliance, 404 and 408 permitting, 620/621 FCC compliance, and 4f regulatory processes
