Small Business,Tourism,Culture, Archaeology; Responsible for development,
maintenance and management of the Provincial Heritage Register Database
Information System Architecture and other branch systems. Position carries
out data management and distribution in support of a wide variety of branch
programs and initiatives in the areas of integrated resource inventory and
planning, archaeological impact assessment, local and regional governments,
First Nations, other third party interests and the general public.
Qualifications – BSc, BA or Technical Certificate with an emphasis on GIS
for resource management and Oracle RDBMS and at least two years experience
in the field of resource inventory and planning, or an equivalent
combination of education, training and experience. Preference will be given
to candidates with knowledge of archaeology/anthropology. For a complete
