AmaTerra Environmental, Inc. is
soliciting resumes from qualified applicants for the position of Archaeological
Laboratory Supervisor. This will be
full-time, salaried position. The
candidate will work under t

he general supervision of a Principal Investigator and
will direct field, laboratory, analysis, and curation tasks for multiple
projects in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Louisiana. This position will be
based in Austin, Texas. An estimated 10-15% travel is required.

Duties will include the
following: process, stabilize and record artifact assemblages; perform
archaeological analyses; prepare materials for curation including project records,
photographs, drawings, electronic files, and artifact assemblages; prepare and
submit samples for assay; maintains chain-of custody and inventories for
samples and artifacts; prepare applications for curation permits; directly
supervise one or more archaeological field and laboratory technicians;
co-author technical reports. Additional duties may involve participating in
and/or directing archaeological field surveys and excavations.

This position minimally requires
a bachelor
