Job Summary:
As an Archaeologist Technician for KLJ you will be responsible for providing cultural resource management services for KLJ projects in a timely, accurate, and cost effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide project correspondence, records, and field notes
• Assist with pedestrian inventory, construction monitoring, and site testing
• Assist with lab cleaning, analysis, and curation of artifacts
• Assist with completion of site forms, reports, and other relevant cultural resource documents
• Participate in meetings
Requirements:
• Either have a four year degree or be working towards a four year degree in anthropology, archaeology, history or a related field
• Must have completed an archaeological Field School
• Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate motorized vehicles
Preferences:
• Experience working with Native American tribal representatives
• Cultural resource construction monitoring experience
• GIS background is desired
