Archeological Field Technician Openings

TRC Environmental Corporation has immediate openings for several experienced Archeological Field Technicians to fill temporary, full-time positions for fieldwork beginning as soon as mid-December running through January 2017. These positions are needed to mobilize field crews for a long linear cultural resources survey in the south-central U.S. Pay rate is $14.00 to $16.00 per hour based on experience with $51.00 per diem rate and individual hotel rooms. Daily transportation between the hotel and project area will be provided. Candidates will be required to take and successfully pass a drug test.

Qualified applicants must have a B.A. degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a related discipline; have experience in survey, testing, and/or data recovery projects; have a minimum of 3 months of full-time or equivalent employment as an archeologist; conduct high-quality fieldwork; produce accurate and legible paperwork in a timely fashion; and take direction from project managers/crew chiefs regarding project requirements and expectations. Applicants must be willing to travel, take direction, and work well on a team.
