permitting and compliance, we provide infrastructure siting, construction management, and biological/cultural resource monitoring.  We offer a competitive benefits package.

 

We are seeking an entry-level cultural resource professional for a full-time position. Working with the project team in our Berkeley office, the Cultural Resources Coordinator will be
responsible for the coordination of cultural resources projects using a database. Coordination work will include processing incoming work, tracking on-going work, and completing projects in a timely manner. Work will also include preparing simple project location
maps, and digitizing records search results.

 

REQUIRED:

·       
Undergraduate degree related to environmental planning or cultural resources

·       
Proficiency in prehistoric or historic archaeology of northern California

·       

Proficiency in database management

·       
Proficiency in ArcGIS

·       
Ability to work with a team under pressure with short deadlines

·       
Effective communication skills (writing, email, and telephone)

 

PREFERRED:

·       
A year of full-time professional experience in environmental resources

·       
Familiarity with typical electrical utility operations and maintenance activities

 

The position is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, and eligible for full benefits.  Compensation will be based on qualifications, proficiencies, level of education, and years of experience. 
When overtime work is required, employee will be compensated with overtime pay in accordance with California law.  We anticipate that employment will begin in March 2015.
