[ShovelBums.Org] CRA Seeks Archaeological Technicians for a Project in Hardin County, Ohio.
Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. is currently seeking archaeological field
technicians for a Phase I archaeological survey in Hardin County, Ohio. The
project is expected to start October 19 and end on November 19, 2016.
A bachelor’s degree in anthropology, attendance in a field school, and prior
archaeological survey experience are required. Preference will be given to
those applicants with previous field experience in the glaciated region of
Ohio and in the Upper Ohio Valley in general.
It is imperative that candidate be able to work 8 hour days in a variety of
conditions. Stooping, bending, and lifting are essential functions of this
position.
The work schedule will consist of two (2) ten (10) day work sessions and one
(1) four (4) day work session. There will be four (4) days off in-between
each work session. Work days will begin and end at the hotel site. Per diem,
which will be paid in cash at the start of each work session, will be $40
per day for work days only. Single occupancy lodging will be provided for
work days only; lodging and per diem are not provided for off days
in-between work sessions. Compensation will be $14.00 an hour. No overtime
is anticipated.
