ASM Affiliates, Inc. (ASM) is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE)-certified cultural resource management (CRM) firm with more than 35 years of experience in providing environmental regulatory compliance services to federal agencies and private proponents throughout the west.

Position Overview: Responsible for the completion of GIS-related maps and figures, as well as assisting with data analysis for multiple, large-scale projects.

Tasks

· Coordinates with Project Managers to complete standard analysis tasks, and to generate data tables for use in the completion of site records

· Edits and maintains shapefiles

· Creates site sketches and location maps, and related site-specific maps and figures

· Prepares project maps and figures

· Prepares data tables derived from GIS attributes

· Conducts records searches

· Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements

· Two or more years of experience in Cultural Resource Management

· B.A. in Anthropology, Archaeology, or History

· Upper-division GIS coursework (graduate-level preferred), or relevant ESRI-led coursework

· Proficient with the most recent ESRI suite

· Proficient with Pathfinder and Trimble hardware and software

· High proficiency in MS Office

· Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive company provided vehicle

· Upon hire, must provide copy of current DMV Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

· Must be able to perform field work in strenuous conditions
