Ecofor has offices in Fort St.James, Fort St. John, Prince George, Terrace, Williams Lake, Calgary, NovaScotia and Whitehorse.  We provideexpertise in a broad range of disciplines including fisheries and aquatics,wildlife, vegetation and riparian, soils and terrain, hydrology, reclamationand enhancement, environmental monitoring, environmental assessment, contaminatedsites, land use planning, archaeology, traditional land use, traditionalecological knowledge, heritage consultation, and socio-economic assessment.
Ecofor iscurrently seeking seasonal ArchaeologicalCrew Leads (four and eight month positions) to join our team in our FortSt. John, BC office.Key Responsibilities:·       Identify areas of potential and to identify sites.·       Collect data and conduct data management.·       Lead field reconnaissance and archaeological impactassessments for Oil and Gas, Hydro, forestry, transportation and otherindustries. ·       Follow permit requirements.·       Write interim reports and maintain communicationwith Field Director. Desired Qualifications:·       Pursuing or having obtained an undergraduate degreein Archaeology or Anthropology. ·       Experience in Cultural Resource Management would bean asset.·       Familiarity with provincial and federal heritageassessment regulatory environment in BC is an asset.·       Familiarity with mapping, pedestrian survey,subsurface testing, excavation, data collection, field note taking andlaboratory experience desired. ·       Excellent writing and communication skills, desireto grow business, and work closely (both in a field lead and support role) withother environmental professionals, environmental discipline leads, and FirstNations.·       Able to work in a strong safety culture.·       Must possess a valid driver’s license. ·       Certification in UTV operations would be an asset.
