The Valles Caldera National Preserve has openings for several seasonal archaeological technicians. GS-5 and GS-7 positions are available. Field work will occur from approximately late-May to October. The Valles Caldera is a new National Park Service unit characterized by rugged volcanic domes and expansive high altitude meadows. The caldera contains a record of 10,000 years of human occupation and use, including extensive obsidian procurement and reduction. The job announcements can be accessed using the links below.
