TEMPORARY ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIELD TECHNICIANS

Logan Simpson currently seeks temporary Archaeological Field Technicians to conduct upcoming archaeological monitoring and data recovery projects in the greater Phoenix area, reporting to our Tempe, Arizona office. Lodging assistance and per diem are not available for these projects.

The ideal candidates will have a B.A. or M.A. in Anthropology, completed archaeological field school, and possess experience conducting archaeological excavation fieldwork in a cultural resource management setting, preferably in central Arizona. Individuals must be capable of manual excavation; identifying archaeological artifacts and features; documenting archaeological features in written notes, forms, and tablet computers; and carrying up to 45 lbs. Ability to work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors a must!
