ested in part-time employment of a qualified Principal Investigator (PI)/Project Archaeologist/Manager who can procure and execute to successful completion permits under the Texas Antiquities Code (TAC) and according to Secretary of Interior standards at the PI level. Preferred candidates will exhibit permit experience for successfully supervising Phase I survey field investigations, data analysis, technical report production and curation. Experience supervising NRHP or TAC testing and data recovery projects a plus. Permitting experience in states surrounding Texas is preferred. Experience with Trimble GPS, TerraSync, total station mapping instruments and ArcGIS preferred.
